In the Refuge of the Sacred Heart

Thank you for this afternoon in which I can still breathe and hope.

Fatigue accompanies me, and at times my heart grows heavy.

In the Sacred Heart, there is rest for every hidden weariness.

Difficulties melt away in the sweetness of a love that welcomes.

Every limit becomes an opportunity for trust, every weakness an encounter with a greater mercy.

Deep within, the strength to continue and the joy of being beloved children are renewed.

In the warmth of Your heart, everything is illuminated with hope.

Every waiting finds trust, and every fear is calmed.
