Under Your Protection in the Night

Merciful Father, I welcome the evening You give me with gratitude.

Lord, I entrust my family and all who feel alone or lost today to You.

Support those who suffer and those who cannot find peace in their hearts.

Bring light to my thoughts and peaceful rest to my body.

Receive every joy and every struggle of this day that has just ended.

Protect the whole world from evil and be with those who keep watch through the night.

Renew in me the trust in Your goodness.

I surrender myself to Your love that never sleeps.
