In the silence of this afternoon, I listen to the slow breath of passing time.

Lord, I welcome you into my heart, serene light that comforts every hardship.

Sustain my steps when I am weary, renew hope where my heart is wounded.

Grant comfort to my thoughts, healing in my fears.

Protect those I love and bring us your peace.
