Saint John the Baptist, Voice of Hope

In the heart of this calm afternoon, I listen to the voice that speaks gently among the waiting.

Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us St. John the Baptist, messenger of hope and preparation.

Renew in our hearts the courage to bear witness to Your light, even in the small struggles of today.

I entrust to You those who seek comfort and those who are alone on their journey; give them a touch of peace.

Support my family and all those who, like John, wish to open themselves to Your new life.

Guide the Church so that it may know how to prepare the way for the encounter with You.

Watch over our going, renew our steps, accompany our thoughts.

Protect those who read this prayer and their loved ones, today and always.
