Praise to Your Sustaining Love

Merciful Father, I praise You for the light You spread this afternoon.

Guide my steps along the paths of daily life.

Grant new energy to my thoughts and my hands.

Sustain my heart when it grows heavy, Lord, and let hope blossom again in moments of weariness.

Protect my mind from anxiety and discouragement.

Illuminate my words and actions towards those I meet.

Renew in me the trust in Your goodness.
