In Your Hands, My Night

Like the wind that lays down its burdens at sunset, I lay before you, merciful Father, the frailties of this day.

I thank you for every gift received and for the breath that accompanies my every step.

In the weariness I feel, I ask for your peace that calms the heart and your light that brightens my shadows.

Protect the people I hold in my heart and soothe every restlessness in my mind.

In you I entrust the silent fears and the tears I have not shown.

Grant me peaceful sleep and the certainty that tomorrow will be new under your loving gaze.

I rest in your goodness.

Amen. 🌿
