Light and Peace with Saint Benedict

Like the dew that quenches the thirst of the earth, so my heart seeks refreshment in the night.

Lord, I thank you for the day lived, for every encounter and for every gift received.

With the intercession of Saint Benedict, Patron of Europe, I ask you for deep peace in my inner storms.

Renew hope within me and comfort my hidden wounds.

Surround with your love every person who is distant and lost.

Watch over us as silence falls and give our dreams light and protection.

Protect my family and those I carry in my heart.

Accompany us, now and always, in your peace.
